THE BIG PICTURE

A Spanbergering – “Virginia’s new governor did something interesting the other day. Or – rather – signed something interesting. She has outlawed the issuing by the state – the DMV – of the Sons of Confederate Veterans license plates that people used to be able to get. The bill she just signed was originally put forward by state rep. Dan Helmer, of Fairfax County. Fairfax is the very heart of darkness of Northern Virginia, which is ironic in view of the fact that Robert E. Lee commanded the Army of Northern Virginia in its fight to gain independence for the Confederate States of America. That is not, of course, how the victors saw the fight. Nor modern re-interpreters of politically incorrect history such as  Helmer, who opined that “The Confederacy was a four year period in which traitors hellbent on preserving slavery tried – and then failed – to divide the Union.” But that’s not quite right, is it? The Confederacy did not seek to divide the union but rather to leave it. Yes, of course, slavery was an issue. But the core issue was whether a state (any state) had the right to leave a “union” its people – via their representatives – no longer wished to be a part of. What the Confederate states did – what they tried to do – was exactly what the 13 colonies did, successfully” – Eric Peters

The Spirit of Sodom Not a place, but a verdict… – “October 7th is now routinely invoked as the explanation for the unbridled violence and psychopathic disregard for human life displayed by Israel in its recent wars in both Gaza and the Middle East as a whole. That is just an excuse however, an occasion to unleash what has been simmering beneath the surface for decades, now openly expressed across Israeli national conduct as a whole. No clearer example of that condition can be seen than inside Israel’s prison and detention system, particularly as it relates to the treatment of the Palestinian peoples. The Gazan Genocide, for all of its evils, has shined a light on the plight of this people like never before. With it, the victims of the Israeli regime describe a system in which severe physical abuse, humiliation, and sexual violence are routine occurrences.” – Scipio Eruditus

When Bullshit Gets Reported as Fact – “Listening to MSN, one might think that a Chinese tanker heading out of the Gulf, laden with Iranian oil, that gets turned around by a US blockade, is actually breaking some law rather than the whim of demented King Trump. It makes me wonder how long the Chinese/Russians will put up with this nonsense and what happens when they don’t? What happens when Iran/China/Russia/BRICS stand-up to the Zionist Empire. If there is a God, will that God come out on the side of the Zionist Empire? If God is all-knowing, God knows who follows teachings of God’s children (a shout-out to major religions that share more than not).” – Erik @ neverhadaboss.com

One Of The Largest Food Producing Nations On The Entire Planet May Soon Be Forced To Ration Fuel – “The real pain from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz hasn’t even hit us yet.” – Michael Snyder

Biotech lobby groups are set to trap farmers and breeders in patent minefield – “Deregulation of new GM crops will increase seed market concentration, undermine resilience of the food system. A new EU law that would scrap any safety or labelling rules for a class of new GM crops produced with new genomic techniques (NGTs) is in its final stages. As all GM crops are covered by patents, this will negatively impact the way our food is produced – meaning more market power in the hands of just a handful of corporations, less choice in seeds for farmers and more risk of being sued, and restricted access to plant genetic material for smaller plant breeders. This raises strong concerns, as our food security depends on the availability of diverse and locally adapted seeds.” – Corporate Europe Observatory and GM Watch

German Court Orders BioNTech to Hand Over 32 Internal Safety, Toxicity, and Manufacturing Records on ‘Comirnaty’ COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine – “Court affirms injured patients’ right to access manufacturer data, forcing disclosure.” – Jon Fleetwood

3 Reasons You Should Say Something – “It’s important that we share our testimonies. Not just about how God gifted our salvation, but about the times when God does great things. Don’t we want our kids and grandkids to know that God will help them when they think the situation is hopeless? Or how they can depend on Him when everyone else fails them?” – Kate Dreston

Yet Another HISTORIC CHURCH TORCHED In Canada – “Another historic church lies in ashes after a major fire tore through Saint-Romain, Quebec, last night. The building, whose construction began in 1893, is the latest casualty in a relentless campaign against Canada’s Christian institutions that has seen arsons more than double since 2021. Western nations are watching the same erosion. In the UK, churches face more than 10 crimes every single day.” – Steve Watson

The Trump Empire – A Colossal Investment and Political Failure – “AFFINITY Partners: Founded July 2021 by Jared Kushner with initial funding coming at the behest of Bin Salman in the amount of $2 billion. The stated purpose was to initiate funding in American and Israeli projects and companies in Israel, India and Africa. As of 2024, despite the firm being given upwards of $6 billion, no profits had been generated at all.” – Helena Glass

Anti-Blockade Blockade Comes Into Effect to Mass Confusion – “Yesterday Trump’s “blockade” went into effect, with an alleged 16 US warships attempting to enforce it somewhere outside the Strait of Hormuz. This has led to a wide array of speculation on what exactly is happening, and how much fact vs. fiction there is in Trump’s ambitious claims. AP confirmed that not a single US warship was in the Persian Gulf:” – Simplicius

Empire of Piracy blockades Iran and China – “Iranians are itching to fight – in case the ceasefire collapses. All hail the almighty return of Pirates of the Caribbean, now upgraded to Pirates of the Persian Gulf. The spectacular collapse of the Islamabad diktats – Barbaria came to dictate, never to negotiate – has been followed by a coercion psy ops on steroids: Jesus! (literally, as he posted it on Truth Social) threatening every single ship now paying the Strait of Hormuz toll booth. As every grain of sand from the Gobi to the Sahara already knows, this is all about China.” – Pepe Escobar

Reflections from the Heart of the Empire: Machinations of Madness and Mayhem – “Let’s recap. Trump started a war with Iran because Israel wanted him to, the Israeli plan failed miserably, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz but only if you insist on paying in dollars, so the US Navy will now blockade the Strait from at least 500 miles away so its ships don’t get sunk until Iran denies its own sovereignty over its half of the waterway. That is not a blockade. That is piracy on the high seas, one ship at a time across an awful lot of ocean, and it cannot possibly work.” – Ohio Barbarian  – THE BARBARIAN’S WEEKLY RECAP!!!!

No rules: Where could the next war erupt? – “How the US attack on Iran is pushing the world towards chaos and new conflicts. Iran’s desperate confrontation with two nuclear powers which have a vast network of allies and client states represents a move toward the erosion of the remnants of a unipolar international system. Tehran’s resistance is accelerating the relentless, albeit gradual, shift toward multipolarity. ” – Georgy Asatryan

Luigi-Inspired Arsonist Threatened “Our Way of Life,” Feds Say – “Does that mean gas prices will go down now? Get used to stuff like this. As I reported in January, a leaked draft copy of the Department of Homeland Security’s upcoming annual Homeland Threat Assessment introduced a new “extremism” threat category: “class-based or economic grievances.”” – Ken Klippenstein

The Numbers Don’t Lie – ‘Shock’ Report Says Dem-Run States Flounder Economically While Red States Thrive – “In the last several years, we have watched as beleaguered taxpayers flee the blue states of the East and West coasts for the less expensive cost of living of places like Florida and Tennessee. Elected officials from those blue states try to brush it off, but it’s pretty easy to see that taxpayers are voting with their feet and a U-Haul. Now, there is a new report that backs up what appears to be happening.” – Becky Noble

AIPAC ‘slimeball’ Eric Swalwell leaves the stage – “Antiwar reformer Rep. Pete Stark warned the public about Swalwell, and was destroyed for it. In Congress, Swalwell provided a reliable rubber stamp for military aid to Israel while distinguishing himself as the most cartoonish promoters of the Russiagate hoax. When he ran for president in 2019 – polling around 0% throughout his campaign – he branded himself the “Guns and Russia” candidate, meaning he would restrict guns for Americans while forking over billions in military aid to Ukraine. With Swalwell’s demise, Pete Stark may have gotten the last laugh. But in a Democratic Party that is hostile to class politics, overrun by corporate lobbyists and occupied by Israel, Swalwell was a prototype. In his wake, new slimeballs will rise to the surface.” – Max Blumenthal

Iran’s Petroyuan Tollbooth Inadvertently Put China In A Zugzwang – “Iran calculated that closing the Strait of Hormuz would put pressure upon the US from its Gulf allies and the rest of the world alike to return to the status quo ante bellum in exchange for reopening it. Reportedly charging yuan for transit was meant to serve the dual purpose of further pressuring the US and encouraging China to extend more support to Iran. Instead, these moves only provoked Trump into ordering the US’ blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which economically harms Iran and also China.” – Andrew Korybko

ECONOMIC NEWS

Trump Will Need Plenty of Inflation to Finance His New War – “While it’s true that the war will lead to the production of fewer goods and services, and lead to relative scarcity in oil, this will not be the foundational cause of price inflation, which is a general increase in prices. A general increase in prices only occurs because of increases in the money supply. In an inflationary environment, as goods become more scarce, there are also more dollars chasing all goods and services. If we’re looking for someone to blame for the price hikes, the first places to look should be the US Treasury and the Fed, which relentlessly work in tandem to exploit the people to enrich the regime.” – Ryan McMaken

The Trump Administration Is Manipulating Inflation Data — And Gold Knows It – “The Trump administration is now actively gaming the inflation data. For decades, the U.S. has understated the true state of inflation by applying various accounting gimmicks to the inflation data: the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the Producers Price Index (PPI). The primary reasons for this are because A) it allows policymakers to hide the decline in living standards in the U.S. and B) the U.S. can continue to underpay Social Security COLA benefits based on lower inflation data.” – Graham Summers, MBA

But even if we take the government’s claims at face value, we do know that the bulk of the U.S. gold reserves is made up of impure “non-standard” bars that don’t qualify for use in international settlements.” – Mike Maharrey

SURVIVAL, PREPAREDNESS AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY

“Here Are Some of the WORST Pieces of Prepping Advice I’ve Heard”- “The competition for the worst prepping advice out there is pretty sharp. It’s been going on for many years and has a tendency to get even more ridiculous as time goes on. One reason is that a lot of the advice is pushing you in the direction of buying something, and when you need to buy something things can go weird and false. Another reason is the fact that there are numerous “experts” out there, and it does not have to be about selling. Often it can be that people just want to be known as experts because they feel more important or whatever.” – Selco
